OPPORTUNITIES
Sunday Opportunities
Extended Session - babies through 3 years old are cared for during the Sunday morning Bible study and worship as well as during the evening worship service by volunteers who work on a rotating basis.
Children's Worship - We worship with the children 4 years old through 3rd grade. The lesson each week adds to what the children are learning in Sunday School but with a different twist. They meet in the KidZone to begin and break into smaller groups by age.
Wednesday Opportunities
Mission Friends meets every Wednesday night from 5:45-6:30 p.m. for those 4 or 5 years old. Mission Friends provides developmentally appropriate missions learning experiences that help preschoolers move from self-centered focus to a focus on others, to become aware that not everyone knows about God's love and to understand ways that can help others know about this good news! Preschools learn about the different cultures and how missionaries help in far away countries to spread God's love. They are able to explore their world with abandon and creativity through home living, art, blocks, music and group time. Preschoolers learn that their part in God's plan can be helping to pray for the missionaries and the conditions in which they work and live. They learn relevant Bible thoughts and how the Bible is a tool used to share God's love.
Preschool Choir is for 4 and 5 year olds and meets each Wednesday from 6:30-7:15 pm in the preschool building. The children are introduced music at the beginning level through songs, rhythmn instruments, and fun games and songs. Preschoolers present music for the church at Christmas and on Children's Day in May.
