Dr. Don Moore - Pastor
Bro. Don comes to FBCS having served as pastor in church since 1957. He is the past president of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention and is the retired Executive Director of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention (February 1996). This will be Bro. Don's tenth intentional interim process to help find our next pastor. Bro. Don and Nita have two children, two step-children and 15 grandchildren. |

Rev. Dennis Smith - Minister of Education/Administration
I have served on the staff of First Baptist since 1988 and graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Oklahoma Baptist University. Karen is my wife and we have 2 children, Elizabeth and Rachel. My goals for the church have been to provide a balanced education program that emphasizes caring and service while continuing to reach, teach and witness. My responsibilities include providing leadership in the day-to-day operation of the church and overseeing our work with Senior Adults and Single Adults. In my spare time, computers and drama are my interests. |

Rev. Tim Blann - Minister of Music
I am a native of Dermott, Arkansas and began at FBC Sherwood in March 2000. My degrees are from Mississippi State University, (Music Education - piano major), Ouachita Baptist University (Master of Music - Choral Conducting) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Church Music). My wife (Joan) and I have two daughters, and she is the choral director at Jacksonville High School. I have served churches in Mississippi, Arkansas and New Mexico. I have also taught music at the high school and junior college levels. |

Rev. Toby Havens - Minister of Youth
I was born in Lubbock, TX, in 1976 but was raised in Russellville, AR. I completed an M. Divinity with an emphasis in Christian Ministry in December 2008. I was married to Amber in 1999. She is originally from Hector, AR, just north of Russellville. Amber is currently working on her PhD from Indiana University. Our daughter, Keeli, born in 2007, anxiously awaits the arrival of her brother in May of 2010. |
