From the Pastor - Dr. Don Moore


We are very thankful for God’s blessings on us during these summer months. We have maintained a good spirit and have seen a number of additions to the church. We welcome each of them. This is always encouraging. While God is moving in a special way, try to get your lost family members and friends to come and worship with us.

The reports and recommendations you received from the Transition Team Sunday will be voted on August 4. Please study and pray over those matters and let’s be prepared to commit ourselves to OUR MISSION, to be a Spirit empowered fellowship of believers through whom Jesus Christ can reveal His life-changing grace to the world.

Your next important move toward getting a new pastor will be completing the Pastor Profile Survey which will be given to you August 29. That will lead up to the time you will be asked to vote for the Pastor Search Committee. The Transition Team has not set that date yet.

Summer operations hit hard. If God has blessed you so that you can help with the added expenses, that would be a blessing. WE DEFINITELY NEED ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE IN PROVIDING FUNDS FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE PRESCHOOL AREA. That work will be done as a continuation of the work you started by upgrading the children’s departments. If you can help with the work day, August 7 (8:00-Noon), that would be appreciated, as well.
