A Time To Soar

Boy, Vacation Bible School was great. We had 300 enrolled with an average attendance of 214 and that was with our “flood-out” on Monday night. I especially want to say “thank you” to Toby Havens, Karen Smith and Suzanne Theis for skillfully leading their age-groups to have a terrific impact on our community.

There is much preparation going on for the new Sunday School year. Our Mother’s Day Out workers are attending the Wee Workshop this week. We have Promotion Day planned for August 22. All division directors will be completing their staffing for the next year. Be ready to say “yes”! If you were a worker in 2009/10 or will be a worker in 2010/11, you and your spouse are invited to a special Sunday School Rally on August 27 in our Fellowship Hall. We will eat good food, have great fellowship, get inspired from David Bond (he preached for us earlier this year), and get pumped up for our new year. You should not miss this!
